are now up and running for non-Blogger-registered folks.

And I'm taking suggestions for an official clever identity-concealing name for my husband on this blog. "C." is rather . . . boring, frankly. My Lord and Master is one that comes to mind . . . or Himself. Or simply The Husbandlet. Or I could cave and call him by his REAL name ("Eustice"). Votes? Ideas? Emotional outpourings?

"There once was a boy called Eustice Clarence Scrub, and he almost deserved it." Sigh. So my personal vote is 'Husbandlet', Lord and Master seems a bit too formal Mrs. 'L'. Knightly just wouldn't approve. Though if you insist you could go with L&M. I thought 'C' was working just fine but if you're looking for amusing nicknames you could go with 'Scuzbucket', as my dad called me growing up, or the reduced version 'Scuz'. It does have a certain ring to it. . .

I think "Scuzbucket and the Squid" would be a GREAT name for a rock band.

I could also call you the Newt Dancer, which has almost the same ring to it as the Horse Whisperer and would probably provide a great lead-in for a satirical romance novel.

However, I think you may just be "The Husbandlet" . . . glad you approve. :)

if you are going arcane you could always choose to mock the man in a different language. i find it usually gives things a special umph. Or Ethelred the Unready in honor of a once great king of England. (not to suggest anything about his personality :)
